Great look but after it washes that all ends Ok, Im an affliction fanboy. My whole closet is affliction. The only other jeans I wear are Rock Revival but thats only because they are just made so well I cant deny them. So this review really pains me. This shirt is a great look. I love how edgy it is without the use of skulls, bones or other notes of decay so prevalent in the Affliction line. The problem though with this shirt is NOT with the look or with the distressed cuff ends and hems. Its with the the print.I dont know if affliction was having an off day or if they were using some really recently dyed shirts but Ive had three of thes red chrome thermals and after one wash all of the logos have turned a peachy pink. Its odd as all of the problems I have had with affliction shirts its always the red ones for some reason. I dont know if their printing inks just dont bond to red but after a wash they look pretty poor. I thought my first was just a fluke so I bought another, and another. I finally just had to give up. I would definitely give this print another shot in a different color. I really wish affliction would give up on its Red addiction. A lot of their stuff is great but you know what they say about one rotten apple. March 17, 2013
Good Looking Shirt Bought this shirt in the store after one of the sales staff pointed it out to me. It is one of my favorite shirts. I will agree with the other reviewer in that after the first wash there were a few spots where the shirt seem to unravel. I clipped them off and haven't had anymore issues with it. I own another thermal in the Affliction line that did the same thing. I tend to think it is due to the distressing of the garment, not sure though.Affliction is one of my favorite lines of clothing and I have rarely been disappointed with any of their designs. Looks awesome, but falling apart ... ... I went for an XL as it fits a bit looser than size implies, if I bought another one I may go for a large as it stretched looser after just one use ... but the stitching is falling apart at the waist and cuffs. After the first use stitching was hanging at my waist and wrists and a hole has already formed at the rear. I worn these only once ! I'll probably return as it looks tougher than it really is ... not very durable and I would be afraid to wash it as it seems so fragile. If were $20 I'd deal with it. This was my first purchase at a local store, service and support was great, I spent much more than I had planned, fell in love with this item and I so want to make it work, just disappointed in quality of workmanship.
