not slim fit I typically wear a large shirt size. I ordered this coat in a large and I could have fit two of me inside. I exchanged it in the store for a medium and the fit is much better. Sleeves on the medium are long enough and I'm 6'2". Buttons are not very durable. Already had to sew two of them back. All in all good coat though. January 9, 2012
