Material tears easily I've had two pair of these jeans. The first pair I bought a year ago and wore them almost every day. I got a hole in one of the knees, which is a typical wear pattern in jeans for me after heavy use. Nonetheless, they held up reasonably well and were, bar none, my favorite jeans I've ever had.I bought a second pair a few months ago. The material changed between and the fit was looser. I still really liked them these felt almost like wearing no pants at all. However, like other reviewers, I got large holes in the knees, pockets, and crotch after just a few weeks. At over $100, and with the prior experience, I expected them to last far longer.FYI, washing will shrink them and the elastic will not have as much bounce.Order a size down, as they run large. Loved Them... Until the Hole Like the other reviewers... best pair of jeans to wear I have ever owned. Better than any sweatpants. Bought them for a country themed wedding in October and just after New Years I noticed a tiny wear spot (the light came through easier), the size of a pinky nail, in the crotch (I had maybe wore the jeans 20 times at this point).I immediately got online and bought a patch and figured that I could make it to 21 wears since it wasn't even a hole yet. Nope. Exactly like the other poster. I got home from a 2 hour executive meeting and was horrified. To my dismay, the small wear spot had turned into a 3 inch hole. Material had just shredded. Later learned that the client was too embarrassed to tell me things were showing. Nice.I have tried to patch, but at best they are outdoor work jeans now. Really disappointed in the material quality. I want to love these jeans, but 3 or so months for $100+ just won't cut it. February 24, 2015
Torn in under 4 months I previously swore off Buffalo jeans due to excessive tearing in 2 pairs years ago. On the urging of a store clerk, I tried them again. I purchased them the week before Thanksgiving, and the week before Valentine's Day, the crotch tore out, much like the first reviewer. I've gotten BKE jeans that have lasted two years and are still going, but Buffalo can't even make it 4 months. This will be the last pair of Buffalo Jeans I ever buy. February 12, 2015
Watch Your Crotch, these pants will blow out. These are the 2nd pair of failed Buckle Jeans in the last 4 months, however I have never seen such a blowout on pants before, because I never have blown out a a crotch in pants. I am 5' 8" and 145lbs and I have taken pants into warzones that have fared better than these pants which only see an office cube. I would take a pic, but the other reviewer and my pants are identical hole on the same leg. February 4, 2015
Amazing until they ripped within 2 months I bought these jeans from a BKE store in Feb. The fit and feel is amazing and the best pair I have ever worn. HOWEVER, I have worn these jeans at most 5 times in the last 2 months (used to just walk to school, and when I sat down to put on my socks, they got completely destroyed and ripped all along the crotch region. I'm not a big guy, 6'1 175lbs and athletic. These jeans are not worth the insane amount of money for the quality they represent. April 16, 2014
