What is the minimum age you have to be to apply at the Buckle?
For store positions you must be at least 18 years of age to apply except in ID, IA, KS, MN, MT, NE, ND, SD which you need to be at least 17 years of age. To apply for all Freight Coordinator positions you must be at least 18 years of age to apply. For all Corporate Office and Distribution Center positions you must be at least 16 years of age.
Proof of age will be required upon employment. -
How do I find out if there are positions available in a specific store?
Please visit the Apply/Search Openings page and enter your zip code to locate open positions in stores near you.

How do I apply for a job?
Please click on Apply to search for jobs by zip code. Simply select the position that you are interested in and complete the online application. Once you have submitted your completed application, you will receive an automated reply outlining next steps.

How do I apply for a position with a new store that has not yet opened?
To view a schedule of store openings and on-site interview dates, please visit the New Stores page. As soon as a new store is ready to begin accepting applications, you will be able to search for jobs by zip code and apply online. Once you have submitted your completed application, you will receive an automated reply outlining next steps.

How do I apply for a buyer position at the Buckle?
Our buyers are primarily promoted from within, having previously worked as teammates within our stores. If you are interested in pursuing a career with the Buckle, we encourage you to apply to become a management trainee.

How will I know that my application has been received?
Once you have submitted your completed application, you will receive an automated response indicating that we have received it. To ensure that your email system allows receipt of our messages, please set your email filter to receive emails from jobs@bucklerecruitment.com. You should receive a second email within 48 hours that details the status of your application.

I'm having trouble submitting my online application. What should I do?
Start by clearing your online cache and cookies. To do so, click on the "tools" option on your Internet browser's toolbar and then scroll down and select "Internet options." Click on "delete cookies" and "delete files" (found on the center of the page).
Also, be sure to that your computer is set to the correct time (and correct time zone for your area), to help prevent getting "timed out" during the application process. Remember: you can always save your application and go back and finish it later by logging in as a returning user. -

What are the minimum system requirements for this site?

What is the career path at the Buckle?
In most cases, you will begin your Buckle career as a teammate, intern, or management trainee. From there, you have the potential to be promoted to team leader, assistant manager—or in the case of a management trainee—store manager. Once you have reached the store manager position, you may have the opportunity to oversee other stores (in addition to your own) as an area or district manager. How do I become a store manager?
All of our store managers are promoted from within the company. If you are interested in pursuing a management position with the Buckle, we encourage you to apply to become a management trainee. Please note that all management trainees must be willing to relocate.
