Rated 5 out of 5 by Brittwop from Boots for all weatherI live in buffalo New York so it’s hard to prepare for the weather. From snow, wind, to rain- these boots keep my feel warm and dry. Not to mention the fact that they actually have a tread so I won’t fall in my face. I should have purchased years ago!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Karma64 from Beautiful & So ComfortableThis is my 6th pair of Sorels, and my first Joan wedge boots! I absolutely love these boots. I’ve worn them non-stop since getting them a couple of weeks ago! I’m actually travelling at the moment and this is the one shoe I brought, along with a pair of slippers. They are super comfortable, lightweight, warm, waterproof and I receive compliments every day I have them on my feet! I got them in ‘Quarry’, and this color works with just about everything. I ordered my normal shoe size and they fit perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cassie14 from Love TheseI ordered these in Quarry and absolutely love them. They go with everything and were comfortable from the very first time I put them on...I can wear them for hours, and I'm not a heel person; I live in tennis shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RenD130 from Perfect! Do NOT Hesitate!I am so happy I finally pulled the trigger and bought these! I purchased the Elk color and absolutely love the look of them. For being as tall of a wedge as they are, they are insanely comfortable. I wore them for the first time for over 12 hours and did not have any issues. I will definitely be buying these in other colors!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from It takes a lot of money to look this CHEAP: SLOPPY SHOE LACESIf you want to spend a lot of money to look CHEAP, these boots are for you.Shame on you Sorel for manufacturing this sloppy-at-best, so-called revised Joan of Arctic Wedge II for 240+usd. The shoe lace system is terribly designed: sloppy. Had the design team WEAR these boots for one hour, they'd feel the loose flaw which can't be fixed no matter how many boot tying tutorials one can study online. How did these "revised" versions get the green light for manufacturing?Sloppy problems: the boots cannot be laced tightly between the three pairs of eyelets, nor can be tightly tied at the top. The mechanics and aesthetic give way to loose laces, and a sagging of the boot body around the ankle. The boot does not maintain its height. The laces are at an awkward length: too long and therefore have to be double tied, and too short to be 1x wrapped around the upper ankle. After ONE season of wear, the laces started to rip.The overall appearance is of a sloppy in a not cool, un-grundgy, un-sophisticated , non-sporty, schleppy look. I read the reviews before purchasing, and saw similar complaints. I thought these grievances were for unique cases; apparently not.The lace/eyelet system needs to be resolved.
Upper: Full grain leather. EVA footbed. Outsole: Molded rubber.
Wiping down the leather uppers after each wear will keep your boots looking their best. An occasional good cleaning and conditioning is also recommended. When putting on your boot, make sure your foot is on the ground when sliding your heel into the boot. This will prevent excessive pressure on the side pull-tabs.
Due to the nature of leather/suede, small variances of color in the skin may occur, this is in no way considered a defect. These are inherent characteristics of leather/suede and will enhance the individual look of your garment.
